Pioneer Valley Gourmet Black Currant Jelly
Be one in a thousand!
According to Cornell University, less than one in a thousand Americans have tasted black currants.
That's really too bad--black currants make really good jelly. It's tart, smooth, and intensely flavored. It's tart, like passion fruit with a hint of cherry. It's a deep maroon color like the images shown here.
It's marvelous on your morning toast. It's your new favorite jelly.
You'll love this carefully crafted gourmet black currant jelly. It's cooked to a precisely spreadable consistency and we think you will agree that it's better than anything in your local store.
It's high in vitamin C and antioxidants. It has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It's like a gourmet jelly or jam should be.
Be one in a thousand. Give this black currant jelly a try.
Does it get any better than this? What a delightful treat when paired with English Muffin bread. So delicious!
USED IT IN A RECIPE THAT CALLED FOR CURRANTS THANKSGIVING AND IT WAS GREAT. DID THE TRICK
Love the Black Currant jelly. It is good on toast, waffles and pancakes. The San Francisco Sour Dough Bread is wonderful. I love home made bread, and this is great. I gave my daughter part of the loaf and she loved it also.
The Jelly never lasts long, it is so delicious on fresh bread. When I make the cookies they never last at all and I usually have some to give to neighbors and friends. The cobbler I keep on have for emergency company, it some one shows up I grab that and make dessert. My husband and I love the products. The one exception was the pop corn kit. The corn poped and I made the carmel topping , I used a candy thermomiter and thought I read it corretly but it just did not get to the stage where it was hard on the pop corn , I will have to try it again. I tried to eat it anyway but it didn't work. Everything else was terrific.
Really delicious,very special flavor
