An Easy Way to Make Prime Rib with Gresham and Myers Prime Rib Rub and Seasoning
11-12 pound Prime Rib Roast
6.2 oz G & M Prime Rib Rub
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Liberally rub the roast on all sides with Prime Rib Rub. Place roast on the rake in a large roasting pan and cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 250 degrees and cook to the following temperatures:
Rare - 120 degrees to 130 degrees (12-13 minutes per pound)
Medium - 135 degrees to 145 degrees (14-16 minutes per pound)
Well - 150 degrees (17-20 minutes per pound)
Insert a meat thermometer into the center of the roast and remove from oven when desired temperature is reached. remember that the ends will be cooked more than the center. Allow roast to rest 25 to 30 minutes for the juices to redistribute. While roast is resting, pour roasting liquid into serving container for aus juis. Slice the roast and serve with horseradish.
G & M Garlic Mashed Potatoes
3 pounds Idaho Russet Potatoes
2 Tablespoons Prime Rib Rub
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1. Peel and cut potatoes into 2" cubes. Place in large pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.
2. Drain potatoes and return to heat momentarily to evaporate any remaining liquid. Add butter, cream and add Prime Rib Rub. Mix with hand mixer until light and fluffy.
(All ingredients can be mixed in a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment if you prefer.)

Damages and issues
