"My husband is very fond of the Parker House Rolls!"

These are easier to make than most dinner rolls because you don't have to shape them.  You make three little dough balls, roll the balls through melted butter, and place them in a muffin tin.

  • Made with buttermilk like the authentic 1867 recipe.
  • This package contains one mix.  Each mix makes about 12 rolls.
  • SAF yeast packet is enclosed.  You provide only water and butter/oil.
  • Directions and tips for perfect rolls are included.  You can make this mix in your bread machine, by hand, or with a stand-type mixer.  If you use your bread machine, you will form the rolls and bake them in your oven.
Don't miss these classic buttery dinner rolls.  Parker House Rolls are perfect for guests and just right for the family. Now make them with the ease of your bread machine, with your stand-type mixer, or by hand.

The original Boston Parker House Hotel Rolls, circa 1860, were folded with a pat of butter tucked in the fold. Competitors, in an effort of one-upmanship, adopted a fancier cloverleaf shape but kept the same rich, buttery texture.

These heritage rolls are based on an 1867 recipe with which we took the liberty of adding the tang of buttermilk. You will find the buttermilk to be the perfect touch for these slightly crusty, light, brioche-like rolls.

They are easy to make and oh, so good.  Your family will love them.  Because these are nearly foolproof, you'll make perfect rolls every time.  With their buttery goodness, your family will fall in love with them.

Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), buttermilk (nonfat dry milk, dry cultured skim milk), sugar, salt, yeast (yeast, monostearate), and dough conditioner added for better baking (wheat flour, dextrose, soy flour, calcium salts, dicetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, ascorbic acid, L-cysteine monohydrochloride, fungal enzymes, azodicarbonamide, and calcium iodate). This product contains wheat, soy, and dairy products and may contain traces of eggs, peanuts, or tree nuts.

" Easy to make Parker House Rolls that your family will love.

Dinner rolls

Soft, fluffy, fantastic dinner rolls, at age 70 I use my bread maker on the dough setting, my youngest son fell in love with the cheddar herb, so I sent him some to try in the bread machine he had never used. He's hooked.

All of my purchases arrived in good shape but I haven't used any of them yet.

Parker House Roll Mix

Was my first time using the bread machine to mix, kneed and rise the dough and than transfer to oven for finishing. I think I may have over done the kneading. Rolls were more dense and not as fluffy as I had hoped. Will try again but the alternative, buying at a bakery seems likely for the near future.

Parker House rolls

I have made these a few times. They are relatively easy to make. They are the best Parker House rolls I've ever had. Well worth the effort. Would highly recommend.
