This is the best banana bread you've ever had!

What makes it so good?

We believe in bananas. So we loaded it up with banana flavor. Then we ask you to put fresh bananas in it. It's "bananay". That may not be a real word, but it's the most bananay banana bread you've ever tasted.

And we added a bunch of cinnamon chips. The cinnamon chips are incredible. You get cinnamon chips in every bite--like chocolate chips in a cookie. You'll have a burst of sweet cinnamon in every bite.

With all that, it's the bread. The bread is like a pound cake--rich and moist.

The combination of bananas, cinnamon chips, and a pound cake-like bread make this the best banana bread you've ever had.

"I love to bake with bananas. I've done so hundreds of times and I know that over-ripe bananas have much more flavor. So I let them get very ripe, starting-to-turn-black ripe.

"Because we buy bananas nearly every week, we have a lot of over-ripe bananas.  We put them in zip-lock bags and freeze them.

"We add cinnamon chips to almost everything we make with bananas--"a burst of cinnmon in every bite."  And it's very good cinnamon.  It works in everything from pancakes to muffins--certainly banana bread.

"Try putting your banana bread in the refrigerator. It just tastes better, like it has more flavor, after being chilled. And it holds together better after a night in the fridge.

"Be creative with your banana bread. Banana bread french toast is fabulous. I love PB&J's so I especially like peanut butter and jam on banana bread.

"But then, that's not the only way to make banana bread sandwiches. For a filling, try creaming softened cream cheese with your favorite jam.

"To make strawberry or apricot cream cheese filling, warm four ounces of cream cheese in the microwave until soft.  Add two tablespoons of granulated sugar and beat with a mixer until there are no lumps.  Add two or three tablespoons of jam, or more if you like, and continue mixing.

"To make banana bread waffles, just pour the batter on the hot waffle iron just as you do for other waffles.

"Enjoy your banana bread."--Dennis Weaver, Founder

Eggs, oil, and bananas are not included.

How to make banana bread French toast in three steps!

This is a weekend breakfast to remember!

  • Step 1: Make the banana bread according to package instructions the night before and refrigerate it.
  • Step 2: Prepare an egg wash as you would for other French toast, with eggs and a little milk. Cut the banana bread into thick slabs. Dip the banana bread in the egg wash, covering both sides.
  • Step 3: Use a wide spatula to handle the slices without breaking apart. Cook well on one side at medium-low heat before turning. Serve hot with warm syrup.

Cinnamon, the next level

I love cinnamon. I have the chips from "The Prepared Pantry and use them in many of my breakfast fiber muffins. I also love banana bread so when I saw the CC Banana Bread Mix, I decided why not. It was fantastic. The chips added a whole new taste level to the bread. The only thing I would do differently is add more CC to the mix. The entire house smelled so good while it was baking. Hubby keeps asking when I'll be making it again. Soon Honey soon.

Yum Yum Yummy

We baked the Cinnamon Banana bread but altered it for High Altitude (we live in Colorado). It turned out phenomenal! . More like a cake rather than a bread and tasted wonderful. Just the right amount of sweetness! You cant go wrong with this one!! I most definitely will buy again!!
