How To Bake
Last week I was in a restaurant an ordered Strawberry Roasted Red Beet Salad. It was very good. The produce was fresh. The strawberries were halved. the red beats were cut in 3/4-inch cubes, and the chicken was grilled and sliced.
The salad was served on arugula, any greens would do, and with a sweet, thick vinaigrette. The oil in the vinaigrette was olive oil.
Not much is better than fresh, succulent strawberries. But they are kind of fragile little creatures. When shopping for strawberries, pick only the best, ripe strawberries free from bruises.
We love focaccia! It's favored Italian bread--flavored with olive oil and Italian spices or anything else you want to add.
We're building a "focaccia library"--a listing of meals that you can make with focaccia bread. The goal is to find 100 meals that we can make with focaccia. That's a big project but that's okay; we have lots focaccia recipes and ideas stashed in the archives. You'll have fun sorting through these ideas with us.
See "The Focaccia Library."
