Sunshine Sunflower Bread Machine or Oven Mix.

This is a bread from the heartland made with sunflower seeds, whole grains, and honey.  It's good for you and your family.  It was designed as a breakfast bread, but it works any time.

It is bread like no other! It's slightly sweet without being sweet. It has a touch of cinnamon without being cinnamony. The cinnamon scent floods the house.

You just found your new breakfast bread. It's nutty--loaded with sunflower seeds. It's kissed with cinnamon with a touch of honey. Yet it's not a sweet bread, sweeter than a sandwich loaf but not sweet like banana bread. It's a moist, delicious, and wholesome bread mix.

You'll find sunflower seeds in every bite. The cinnamon tints the bread a warm, light brown color.

• Why should I try it? It's good and good for you. It's hearty without being heavy, actually light and soft--just a wonderful traditional bread.
• What does it taste like? Well, it's a very light whole wheat bread with tons of sunflower seeds so it has a very nutty taste, but it's not all wheat. It's just a really good bread. It's so soft and moist that even the kids like it.
• How do you like it? That's cheating. I developed it. It's certainly an all-time, top-ten bread for me. I love it!
• The kids like sweet bread. Anything sweet? It's made with honey, and it has milk, so it has lactose and fructose. It's just sweet enough to be very pleasant.
• Is it a breakfast bread or a sandwich bread? Well, it works both ways, but it was designed as a breakfast bread. It makes incredible toast. 
• What about the users? More of them mentioned the crunch. They use it for toast, but mention sandwiches also.
• No sugar added? No sugar added. The anti-caking agent in the honey has some sucrose in it, but barely.
• So it's healthy? Yeep. Lots of whole grains, honey, and dairy.
• Ah, but does it taste good? Several of the reviewers said it was their best bread. It wouldn't be five-star if it didn't taste good.
• How tall is it? With the right water temperature, it's six or seven inches tall in your bread machine.
• What if I don't have a bread machine? It's easy to make in your oven.
• It says "no preservatives." How long will it last? It doesn't have three weeks of preservatives like in the stores.  We recommend not more than five days on the counter. If you're not going to use it all, slice it and put it in the freezer.  Thaw it in the toaster.

This bread makes fabulous French toast. The sunflower seeds give it texture and character. And a touch of sweet cinnamon is perfect.
