". . . addicted to this jam after visiting Glacier National Park. This huckleberry jam is perhaps the best jam I’ve ever had. I love having it on English muffins with a bit of butter in the morning, though it’s also great on biscuits!"  Sarah Crossland

As we drive the mountain backroads in August,, we find huckleberry pickers parked along the sides of the roads.  Out in the trees somewhere, they stake out their patch. They may return to the same patch every night for a week, returning to their jobs each day.

It's not just that huckleberries taste good; they're like gold. For many, they are too good and too expensive to eat. The country markets sell them for over $50 per gallon, and the city folks will pay it. So, the country folks sell their berries to the country markets who freeze them and sell them to others.

No one pays $50 a gallon for berries unless they are very good.  Try this jam, or give a jar to someone you love.

You may become addicted. You may find they're worth $50. Discover huckleberry jam for yourself or a loved one.
