The flavor of these sticky buns is absolutely amazing and the sweetness is not overpowering. They were delicious.
I was really excited to try this. Recipe was not included like so many others, but I found where they posted it online.
Rolls worked fine. HOWEVER, the final step says to immediately flip onto a cutting board. The still sloppy wet topping immediately dumped boiling caramelized sugar everywhere. Almost burning myself and my barefoot three year old who was excitedly watching beside me.
After that excitement, the taste wasn't too bad... but not worth risking an ER visit.
Ive made rolls from scratch for years but decided to try these to see if it was easier. I was very disappointed. They didnt raise very well, and the sticky syrup was way to much for the size of the pan and had very little flavor. Considering how much we love all other prepared pantry mixes, this one was a surprise and disappointment. I spent most of the day trying to get them to raise and bake and then ended up just throwing them out.
Oh the gooey, sweet sticky sauce is amazing! They had great flavor and were very soft in texture!!
