Your Questions Answered

• I love the idea of adding cinnamon chips to my family's favorite recipes, but how do I know how many to add?   Use your free handbook; it will get you there. Sure, every recipe is different, but this will be a great starting point. You can always add a few more the next time.
• But I don't want to get it wrong.  You won't. I guarantee your cookies will be better. We've made that many cinnamon chip cookies. 
• What if my recipe already has ground cinnamon? Go ahead and add cinnamon chips. It's hard to have too much good cinnamon. Ground cinnamon fades into the background, gets lost. Cinnamon chips deliver--a burst in every bite.
•  What about breads?  The handbook covers that, too. These are fat-based like chocolate chips, so they will melt. Kneading is hard on them; they tend to break up. Add them at the end, before you form the loaf.
• How do I do that, add chips to a dough ball? Good question! Would you like to borrow an old baker's tip? Take your dough ball and place it on the counter. Grab a lightly-floured rolling pin and roll out your dough ball until the dough is about a half-inch thick. You'll have to work at it a bit since the dough wants to spring back to shape. Then sprinkle the cinnamon chips over the dough, like you were making cinnamon rolls.  Form it into a ball and make your loaf. 
• Is that as good as I think it's going to be? Better! Warm, homemade- a little doughy in the center, with little pockets of melted cinnamon. It could be one of the best that's ever come out of your kitchen.
• What's your favorite way to use cinnamon chips? I love cinnamon chip banana bread. And for breakfast, I love cinnamon chips in my pancakes.  Don't bother with a recipe--just add chips to the batter.  And with chips in the batter, you don't need as much syrup.
