About the author

Dennis and his wife, Merri Ann, founded The Prepared Pantry in 2003. Since then, he has written books, thousands of articles, developed products, and designed recipes.

But his love for baking started much earlier--his mother gave him a cookbook for his eighth birthday. He has baked ever since. When he was 21, he was baking commercially in a bake shop in Alaska.

Dennis and Merri Ann have five kids that they are very proud of.

Dennis has a bachelor's degree from The University of Alaska and a master's degree from the University of Minnesota.
