Our bread/pizza mix makes a moist and delicious gluten-free bread that stays soft longer. When it comes to our pizza crust, you won’t even know it is gluten free, try it today!


Bread Recipe

Combine Dry Ingredients
1 package of mix
1 tsp salt*
3 tsp sugar*
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

Mix wet ingredients together
1 1/2 cup buttermilk (or 12 oz. yogurt or soy yogurt)
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil

*Optional Ingredients based on dietary needs

Bread Machine (2lb. capacity): Follow your bread machine's instructions for adding wet and dry ingredients. Add yeast last. If possible, run on a cycle that kneads once and rises once. Turn out on cooling rack after baking cycle is completed.

Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9" x 5" loaf pan. Add yeast to warm buttermilk or yogurt and let sit 5 minutes. Mix eggs, oil and buttermilk or yogurt together. Combine dry ingredients and add to liquid. Mix on low speed until thoroughly combined. Dough will look shiny and smooth. Spoon into loaf pan. Cover and let rise 20 minutes. Bake 40-45 minutes. Loosely cover with foil half-way through baking time. Turn out on cooling rack immediately. Under baked bread will fall.

Variations: Add 2 tsp cinnamon with dry ingredients. Near end of kneading cycle add 1/2 cup softened raisins or craisins. Note: Bread is best toasted or warmed.

Pizza (Makes 2 - 12" Crusts)

Combine dry ingredients:
yeast packet
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp Italian seasoning*
1 tsp garlic powder/pepper*
1 package of mix
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt*
1 tsp onion powder*

*Optional Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk

Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees. Mix liquid ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add dry ingredients. Mix together on low speed until dough forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the mixing bowl. If dough is too thick to roll out easily add 1 Tbsp milk. Turn dough out on greased pan. Roll out dough. Let rise 10 minutes. Cover with toppings. Bake 8 or 9 minutes. Note: Brushing the edges of crust with 2 Tbsp melted margarine before baking will keep the crust edge soft.

Ingredients: Potato Starch, Corn Starch, Tapioca Flour, Xanthan Gum, Sorghum Flour, Brown Rice Flour, White Rice Flour, Yeast Packet.
