This is a new product for us and we're excited to use it.  If youre like me, after a long day, youre looking for an easy meal.  With this you can make dinner for two in seven minutes or lesschicken, halibut, salmonor bake a potato in five minutes.  Eighteen recipes are included or create your own.  (This is the only recipe that requires over seven minutes.)
 
Asian Stir Fry
 
6 ounce skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
2 tablespoons teriyaki seasoning
soy sauce to taste
4 ounces frozen oriental vegetables
  1. Coat the chicken with the seasoning.
  2. Fill the steamer with one cup water.  Place the chicken and frozen vegetables on the insert and place the lid on the steamer.
  3. Microwave on high for 5 minutes.  Stir and microwave for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve over steamed rice.
 
This recipe can also be baked in the oven with your steamer.  Beef, pork, or shrimp can be substituted for the chicken.
 
Quick Baked Potato
 
one medium russet potato
 
Place the potato on the insert.  Add one tablespoon water.  Microwave for five minutes.
 
Halibut
 
1 halibut fillet, six ounces
1 teaspoon marjoram
3 cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter
  1. Season the fish to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the fish and other ingredients on the insert and place the lid on the steamer.  If your fish is fresh, add one tablespoon water.
  3. Microwave on high for 2 minutes if fresh and 6 minutes if frozen.  
This recipe can also be baked in the oven with your steamer.
