Lemon Meringue Pancake and Waffle Mix (24 oz.)
These pancakes really do taste like lemon pie. The taste is sweet and distinctive, but not so strong that it wouldn't match up with your favorite syrup. They also make for crisp waffles that are a nice treat if you're looking for something different. They still need a syrup or jam though. Maple syrup works well but blueberry syrup and lemon is a classic combination. Strawberry syrup and raspberry syrup also work well as do the cream syrups. This recipe for lemon syrup is terrific with these pancakes if you are a true citrus lover.
