I often cut my biscuits like scones so that I don't have to drop them to rework into more biscuits. If you pat your dough into a circle, cut wedges like a pie. I usually pat it into a rectangle using a knife or bench scraper to press against and create straight line edges. Then I cut the biscuits into rectangles. This makes biscuits almost as easy as toast.
These mixes are conveniently sized for a single meal. Each mix makes 8 tall biscuits.
Empty the package, add water, cut the biscuits, and bake. No cutting in butter or shortening. Since baking takes ten or twelve minutes, allow yourself about 15 minutes and you'll have hot biscuits fresh from the oven.
