How to Make this Strawberry Pie in 15 Minutes

What you'll need:

  • A pie crust from the grocer's refrigerator or freezer case.
  • Strawberries
  • A clear glaze from the grocer's shelf.

Now, it's mostly cut and assemble.

Directions:

  1. Bake the crust. How long will depend on whether it's frozen or thawed. A pie crust shield is helpful, protecting the edge while the center bakes.
  2. While you are baking the crust, core the strawberries using a plastic straw.
  3. Slice the strawberries. You will need a strawberry slicer to get nice, even cuts.
  4. Arrange the strawberries in the pan.
  5. Pour the glaze over the strawberries.

You're done. Refrigerate the pie until you're ready to serve.

Serve it with whipped cream. Consider flavored whipped cream: caramel, orange, or lemon.

How to Make Orange Cloud Whipped Cream

Make orange cloud whipped cream as other whipped cream except add orange flavor instead of vanilla. Don't add too much, you can add more later, Add the zest from an orange. If you want the whipped cream to hold up longer, add meringue powder.
