I love making skillet cobblers. They're quick, easy, and so good. And I really like the Chubby Cherry filling and topping. It tastes fresher than the fillings in the store and with a more intense flavor. So pairing a cobbler mix with the filling is perfect.

This mix makes an outstanding cobbler! It's a base mix--the fruit is not included. But that's okay, you can add your choice of fresh or frozen fruits. If you prefer, use a pie filling. Since you can use whatever fruit is in season or in your refrigerator, you'll want to make these cobblers often.

As it bakes, the batter tends to rise and fold over the fruit and the fruit sinks through the batter. With golden cobbler over the top and fruit peeking through, this is a very attractive dessert.
