Making the Banana Smoothies: What You'll Need

Bananas

Each smoothie recipe below calls for just one ripe banana. You can use more bananas or even add extra banana flavoring if you want a stronger banana taste.

Ice and/or Ice Cream

The thing that really holds a smoothie together is the frozen good in between all of the fruity goodies. Some smoothie recipes call only for ice and rely on the banana as the base for the right consistency, but there are a few that call for a scoop of ice cream too to add a delicious creaminess to your smoothie.

You can make your own ice cream too! It’s so easy to do with an ice cream maker, and you’ll have amazing ice cream in fifteen minutes. You’ll never have to go to the ice cream shop again!
