Chubby Cherry Cobbler Mix in a Basket (A Gift Basket)
I love making skillet cobblers. They're quick, easy, and so good. And I really like the Chubby Cherry filling and topping. It tastes fresher than the fillings in the store and with a more intense flavor. So pairing a cobbler mix with the filling is perfect.
I often sneak a couple of spoonfuls of filling from the jar to put on my ice cream. The jar is generous enough that you'll never miss it. Dennis Weaver
This base mix makes an outstanding cobbler! It's a base mix--the fruit is not included. But that's okay, you can add your choice of fresh or frozen fruits. If you prefer, use a pie filling. Since you can use whatever fruit is in season or in your refrigerator, you'll want to make these cobblers often.
This is a very easy dessert to make. It's a one-stage cake mix, Put it in a pan and sprinkle fruit or other goodies over the top. As it bakes, the batter tends to rise and fold over the fruit and the fruit sinks through the batter. With golden cobbler over the top and fruit peeking through, this is a very attractive dessert.
Choose a great gift basket for not a lot money--our popular cobbler mix and a 15-ounce jar of Chubby Cherry Gourmet Filling and Topping wrapped with a bow.
