Ramstadt-Breda Rich Dark Cocoa (Holland)--Large one pound pack

I really did not know anything about cocoa powder before reading about it on this site. I am addicted to it sprinkled on top of my whipped milk in my coffee. It provides health benefits too.

By request, I have been making a Chocolate Cake with zucchini, cinnamon and choc chips for over 20 years for family birthdays. The recipe is one was handed down to me from my husband's aunt. This cocoa has made this cake the. best. ever ... by far! My daughter described it as a "mouthgasm." lol I didn't really believe this cocoa and the gourmet cinnamon could make THAT much of a difference, but boy was I wrong! I started believing when I opened the package and inhaled the smooth, deep, chocolate aroma. The resulting cake was better than anything I've ever bought from a store, eaten in a restaurant, or tasted out of my grandma's kitchen. (Sorry grandma) I told my husband that if I had to pay this much to buy just enough to make just one cake (1/4 cup) it would be well worth it! (Thankfully it's VERY reasonably priced) I'm going to be finding excuses and ways to uses this cocoa lol A-maz-ing!!!

I was curious to try this cocoa after reading all of the wonderful reviews. When I opened my first package, I pulled out a teaspoon of it and smelled it. I was astounded at the difference between this and other cocoa. It was so silky! All of the desserts I've made with it have received rave reviews. My mom's fudge recipe was good before, but with this cocoa, it was better than ever! I have several other brands of cocoa in my house (Hershey's, Ghiradelli, etc.), and I have no desire to use them. I made Mississipi Mud bars for the Super Bowl, and everyone who tasted them commented on how wonderful they were. I knew they were outstanding because of this cocoa. I just bought sixteen more pounds of it, so I can share it with my family and friends.

I have bought six pounds so far and will every time it is on sale. Perfectly sealed so it stays fresh. I have my cup of hot chocolate made my way every morning and sometimes a treat in the afternoon, the European way. Heaping tablespoon of cocoa, add hot water, honey and a touch of cinnamon, stir and add milk to taste. Yummmy ...... of course you can use hot milk instead of water, but I prefer mine this way. Enjoy ....... and stock up while the price is right.

This stuff is AMAZING...cannot live without it! Gives baked goods a big punch of chocolate, no comparison to the stuff in the can. If you like truly dark, dense chocolate flavor, replace your usual cocoa with this in all recipes...it's exceptional!
