How to store your nuts:

Walnuts are wonderful in baking, candy making, and snacks. But they are fragile.

Walnuts have a high fat content and should be stored in a cool place to avoid rancidity. For longest life either freeze them or store them in your refrigerator. Once the bag is opened, always store any remainder in the refrigerator and use within three months. Never store walnuts or products with walnuts in them over the stove or in other warm places.

best black walnuts

Prepared Pantry's black walnuts are the best I have ever used. I put them in banana bread and muffins, or just eat them as a snack. They are far better nuts than you can find at a store.
