Focaccia (foh-KAH-chee-ah) is a wonderful, versatile flat-bread from the Tuscany region of Italy. Hot and fresh from the oven, this is a great bread that everyone in your family will enjoy.

Focaccia is our quickest and easiest bread. Mix with your stand-type mixer, bread machine, or by hand, press it into a pan, let rise, top with the herbs, and bake. You'll have great focaccia in the oven in less than an hour. Whoever thought that you could make such a great Italian bread so easily?

Illustrated instructions show how to make focaccia bread, bread for a pizza, or bread sticks. Use your imagination to create other wonderful Italian dishes. Contains two mixes. Your mix will make a 15-inch bread or two 10-inch breads. You can also use an 11x17 baking sheet.

Serve this as a snack or appetizer, make sandwiches, or dress it up like a pizza. We serve this in our store with a little cup of spaghetti sauce or marinara and people love it. And it's one of our favorite sandwich breads: Split and loaded with your favorite meats and cheeses, it makes fantastic focaccia sandwiches.

Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), dehydrated onions, sugar, dried herbs, yeast (yeast, monostearate), milk (dry milk solids), salt, garlic, and dough conditioner (added for better baking (wheat flour, dextrose, soy flour, calcium salts, dicetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, ascorbic acid, L-cysteine monohydrochloride, fungal enzymes, azodicarbonamide, and calcium iodate)). This product contains wheat, soy, and dairy products and may contain traces of eggs, peanuts, or tree nuts.

My mom came to visit me in October from Idaho. She brought me a few prepared pantry mixes. I just tried this mix tonight, and its very yummy. I was thinking the seasoning would be overpowering but it wasnt at all. I even added a touch of salt. We dipped this into pizza sauce. Great compliment to an Italian Dinner, or even used as a pizza crust. We used the basic Walmart brand Extra Vir olive oil and it tasted just great!

I made this bread into pizza dough and it was amazing! It had such a good flavor that complimented the rest of the pizza toppings. I've also tried it in bread stick form and it's equally tasty!
