You'll love this Old World Sourdough Whole Grain Bread.

European sourdough is a little different flavor than San Francisco sourdough--a very nice flavor but the tang is not sharp.  It's a deep, complex flavor.
It's our best sourdough bread made with wholesome grains like rolled oats, rye, barley, and wheat. 
 
If you like sourdough bread, this is a wonderful choice.  It's a mild sourdough with a chewy crust, a wonderful split-top bread.  The secret is the four wholesome rolled grains (wheat, oats, rye, and barley) plus a generous helping of sunflower seeds.   Because the grains are rolled, not chopped, they blend into the bread for a smooth, soft texture.  (Your kids or grandkids won't know that all those good grains are in there.)  But you'll get a wonderful sourdough bread that is restaurant quality and very good for you. 
 
This is a healthy choice with four whole grains and sunflower seeds.  There are no preservatives.

 If you make this bread in your bread machine, water temperature is critical.  Please use a thermometer to measure water at exactly 80 degrees.  A ten degree difference in water temperature can double the growth rate of the yeast.  These bread mixes are satisfaction guaranteed when you use a thermometer. 


Ingredients:   Enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), four rolled grains mix (wheat, oats, rye, barley), sourdough base (wheat flour, salt, fumaric acid with partially hydrogenated soybean oil, 2% or less of: sodium diacetate, diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono and diglycerides (DATEM), lactic acid, soybean oil, ascorbic acid, L-Cysteine, azodicarbonamide (ADA), enzymes), dry milk solids, raw sunflower seeds and sugar. And less than 2% of yeast (yeast, monostearate), and dough conditioner (added for better baking (wheat flour, dextrose, soy flour, calcium salts, dicetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, ascorbic acid, L-cysteine monohydrochloride, fungal enzymes, azodicarbonamide, and calcium iodate)).
This mix contains wheat, soy, and dairy products and may contain traces of eggs, peanuts, or tree nuts.

Can't stop eating this bread

Seriously, even my husband, who is wary of sourdough bread, couldn't keep his hands off this bread. It's got just the perfect amount of, what's the word? Sour-ness? Anyway, it's subtle, but not too subtle. Nice crust, great texture. Easy to make in the bread machine.

Absolutely the best whole grain sourdough bread ever! Spoiled by living in the Bay Area for 10 years, I was thrilled with the wholesome goodness of this bread and the tangy taste only bread made from real sourdough starter mix, not vinegar, presents. Thank you Prepared Pantry for being the best source of high quality mixes ever!

this was my first result in baking using prepared pantry bread machine mixes, got it as a part of the sourdough samplier pack .It turned out great its a hearty bread with that great soughdough tang, Can't wait to try the others, but this mix is on our list to reorder
