Mixing it Up on Vacation
RV
season—or cabin season or boat season—is coming up again.
(For some lucky souls, RV season never ends.) And a vacation without
eating well is . . . well, not much of a vacation. What to stock the
RV with is always a challenge.
When you get ready to cook, it always seems that you’re missing something. A store may not be handy and who wants to take the time to stop anyway. And speaking of time, who wants to take extra time to cook when there are things to see and do. The answer to both the time problem and the missing ingredients problem is to use mixes whenever you can.
• Mixes reduce preparation time—studies show by half to three-fourths. Think of the time it takes to assemble ingredients and equipment and to measure and mix those ingredients. Save your time for other vacation activities.
• Mixes mean no more missing ingredients. Everything is contained in the package.
• Mixes mean no more emergency grocery store shopping.
• Mixes mean fewer flops. You are using proven products that have been carefully formulated.
Our mixes are packaged in Mylar to make them critter proof—no more bugs, mice, or spoiled food—and give them a longer shelf life. Leave them in the cabin all winter and they'll still be good in the spring.
(Be sure and save those Mylar bags. They can be resealed with a hot iron to store other food goods in. Click for more information about reusing Mylar bags.)
Stock up the RV
now, load up for the cabin or the boat. Make food the best part of your
next vacation.
