Foolproof Rice

Here's an easy way to make foolproof rice with your multi-pot:

1. Fill your pot to the 2-cup mark with hot tap water.  (There's no need to use your measuring cup.)
2. Add 1 cup long grain rice.  Add a generous 1/2 teaspoon salt.  Place the lid on the pot, turned the lid to seal so that the steam does not escape, and set the heat to medium.
3. In a few minutes, the rice will begin to boil.  You'll be able to see it boiling through the glass lid.  Do not lift the lid.  Turn the heat to low and set your kitchen timer for fifteen minutes.
4. When the timer goes off, remove the multi-pot from the heat.  Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
