Here's how to do it:

Select the blades that you wish and slide them into the slotted handle of the sculpting tool. Different blades create different designs. Loading the tool with the same type of blades creates a repeating design.
Press the sculptor into the iced cake and rotate the cake on the plate or turntable if you are decorating a layer cake. If you are decorating the top of a cake, simply glide the tool through the frosting.
