But we would use it for a serving platter or utility piece. It's too nice to cut a pizza on--even if that is what the manufacturer intended. It's heavy gauge, stainless steel, with a mirror-like surface. It's a beautiful pan, and if you don't mind scratching it with your pizza wheel, it will certainly heat a pizza.
