Clearjel is a unique, very useful product. It is a thickener used in pies, puddings, gravies, and more. Unlike most starches, it thickens into a clear jelly, not milky, so that the color and appearance of the fruit shows through. Gravies are a richer, clearer color. It is resistant to separating and thinning in freezing.
Use Instant Clearjel in:
Use as you would cornstarch. While regular Clearjel requires cooking to thicken as does cornstarch, Instant Clearjel thickens without cooking.
