Pork Chops with Apple Gravy
with Spring Asparagus, New Potatoes,
and
Maple Blondies with Butter Rum Sauce
Dear
${token1},
We're thinking spring. Here in eastern Idaho, the snow is almost gone and the flurries are down to two or three a week. Spring planting is still two months away but we're still thinking spring.
For dinner we made pork chops with apple gravy. We added new potatoes and baked asparagus with walnut butter. Ah, and for dessert, we served our Maple Nut Blondies with Butter Rum Sauce.
This is an easy meal. You should have it on the table in about an hour with 30 to 45 minutes of actual prep time. The recipes are sized to serve four.
But we've got to tell you about the dessert. We were in a famous restaurant and ordered dessert--a blondie and a scoop of ice cream topped with a buttery sauce. It was so good, we ordered another and wondered, "Could we make this into a mix?"It took us six months but we think this is better than the original. And the testers loved it.
