Tuscan sun dried tomatoes deliver more flavor. You can really make great breads, casseroles, sauces and soups with these tomatoes. They are a great buy with more volume and flavor for your buck.

Because these sun dried tomatoes are more intense than what you buy in the store, they are perfectly suited for cooking and baking. Add them to soups and casseroles, make your own Italian tomato bread, and liven up your chili. These will also add flavor to your marinara sauce. These bright red, sun dried tomatoes are rich in Lycopene.

Both fresh tomatoes and canned are about 98% water. These are dried so there is practically no water, much drier than the nitrogen packed dry tomatoes in the store. So the flavor is much more condensed and concentrated and they really pack a punch.

Ounce for ounce these represent more fresh tomatoes and are really a good buy.

Add about 3/4 cup Tuscan Sun Dried Tomatoes per loaf of bread.
Add 1/2 to one cup of Tuscan Sun Dried Tomatoes per quart of marinara sauce.
Toss a handful in your soups and chilies.
Add them to casseroles.

Baker's note: These are the tomato pieces that we use in our bread mixes. They are drier and have a much more intense flavor than other tomatoes. We love them in both our cooking and our baking and highly recommend them.
