You don’t have to eat a grapefruit with a spoon. You can section your grapefruit and add sections to a salad or a mixed fruit bowl. Here’s how:
Step 1: With a sharp knife, cut the ends off the grapefruit.
Step 2: Place the grapefruit on a cutting board. Use your sharp knife to cut the skin away from the pulp in strips. All of the white inner skin should be removed.
Step 3: Slice along the dividing membranes to the center of the grapefruit. Lift the pieces out with your knife.
