Do something different and serve bright saffron rice! Saffron Rice is a bright yellow, long grain rice. It is naturally colored with saffron but the saffron leaves little, if any taste. Use this for a colorful, impressive presentation.

Cook as you would white rice.

This is a large, 25 ounce package. It comes in a Vista® resealable zipper bag. Vista bags have a nylon oxygen barrier that keeps your rice fresh.

Recommended Preparation Instructions:

Boil 1 3/4 cups water in a large pot. Add 1 cup of rice to the boiling water. Return to a boil for 2 minutes, then cover and simmer on low heat. Simmer the rice for 18 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes then fluff with a fork. One cup dry yields 3 cups cooked.
