to Make Mayan Dipping Chocolate
Dipping goodies
in chocolate is an easy way to make treats that are perfect for the
chocolate lover. You can dip anything from pretzels to strawberries.
Consider cubes of angel food cake or small cookies. Cover them with
chocolate or dip them half way.
In this case, we
used Mayan Dipping Chocolate. It’s easy to make.
Mayan chocolate
is cinnamon-laced chocolate. Be sure to use both good quality chocolate
and cinnamon. The chili powder is optional but gives just a hint of
spice which we quite liked.
16 ounces of dark
chocolate wafers or other dipping chocolate
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch chili powder (optional)
fruit, cake, cookies, or pretzels to dip
Melt the chocolate.
Stir in the spices. Dip the fruit or other bite-sized goodies in the
chocolate.
