Focaccia (foh-KAH-chee-ah) is a wonderful, versatile flat-bread from the Tuscany region of Italy. This focaccia is made with real cheese, a blend of favorite mild cheeses that work perfectly with the herbs and spices. This is a great bread!

Focaccia is our quickest and easiest bread. Mix with your stand-type mixer, bread machine, or by hand, press it into a pan, let rise, top with the herbs, and bake. You'll have great focaccia in the oven in less than an hour. Whoever thought that you could make such a great Italian bread so easily?

Illustrated instructions show how to make focaccia bread, bread for a pizza, or bread sticks. Use your imagination to create other wonderful Italian dishes. Contains two mixes. Your mix will make a 15-inch bread or two 10-inch breads. You can also use an 11x17 baking sheet.

Serve this as a snack or appetizer, make sandwiches, or dress it up like a pizza. We serve this in our store with a little cup of spaghetti sauce or marinara and people love it. And it's one of our favorite sandwich breads: Split and loaded with your favorite meats and cheeses, it makes fantastic focaccia sandwiches.

Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), cheese (dry cheese solids), sugar, dried herbs, yeast (yeast, monostearate), milk (dry milk solids), salt, garlic, and dough conditioner (added for better baking (wheat flour, dextrose, soy flour, calcium salts, dicetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, ascorbic acid, L-cysteine monohydrochloride, fungal enzymes, azodicarbonamide, and calcium iodate)). This product contains wheat, soy, and dairy products and may contain traces of eggs, peanuts, or tree nuts.

As with most Prepared Pantry mixes, this mix is easy to make and has great flavor. My guests loved it. It tasted just as good warmed the next day.
