How to Prep a Pineapple
You can cut a pineapple by hand or use an inexpensive pineapple cutter. If you are cutting by hand, do the following:
- Cut the top and the bottom off so that you have a cylinder.
- Cut off the peel.
- Cut out diagonal wedges to remove the eyes.
- Turn the pineapple to a vertical position and cut the pineapple vertically into four or six wedges.
- Cut the hard center away by cutting the inner slice of the wedges away.
