Caramel Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons
cornstarch
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1. Combine cornstarch,
milk, salt, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Cook and stir until
the mixture boils and is thick and bubbly. Remove from the heat.
2. Add brown sugar, butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Thin if
necessary with more milk.
Serve warm or
cold over ice cream.
