The Great Grocery Giveaway Official Rules
1.
The Sponsor
The Sponsor of this promotion, hereinafter “The Great Grocery
Giveaway”, is “The Prepared Pantry” of Rigby, Idaho,
83442. The Great Grocery Giveaway is administered and managed solely
by The Sponsor.
2.
To Enter
No purchase, payment of fee, or obligation is necessary to enter. Any
eligible person may enter. Entries may be made online on The Prepared
Pantry web site or by sending the entrant’s name, email address,
and date of birth to:

If you do not have an email address, then it is required that you provide a mailing address instead. All online and mailed entries must be received by 11:59pm January 31, 2007, Mountain Standard Time.
The Great Grocery Giveaway runs through January 31, 2007. The Great Grocery Giveaway may be extended at the sole discretion of The Sponsor and without notice.
3.
Eligibility and The Great Grocery Giveaway Availability
The Great Grocery Giveaway is open to all legal residents of the United
States who reside in the U.S. and who are 18 years or older as of June
15, 2006. Employees of The Prepared Pantry and their affiliates and
their respective household members and immediate families are not eligible.
Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility verifying that he/she
is an eligible participant.
Void where prohibited by law. The Great Grocery Giveaway is subject to all applicable U.S. federal, state, local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and accept that the decisions of The Sponsor are final. Entry constitutes granting the Sponsors permission to use the winner’s name and any statements about The Great Grocery Giveaway for publication purposes without any additional compensation where permitted by law.
4.
Drawing
Winners will be chosen in a random drawing by assigning a random number
to all entries and by using a random number generator by The Prepared
Pantry within ten days of the close of The Great Grocery Giveaway. Odds
of winning depend on total number of entries received. Only one entry
per person will be included in the final drawing. One (1) Great Grocery
Giveaway will be awarded to the first eligible entry drawn.
5.
Prizes
A $200 Great Grocery Giveaway will be awarded to one winner and will
consist of a $200 gift certificate for merchandise offered for sale
at The Sponsor’s website, www.preparedpantry.com. The Great Grocery
Giveaway gift certificate is valid through and must be used by June
1, 2007. No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfers of The Great
Grocery Giveaway gift certificate is permitted. Winner is solely responsible
for payment of taxes on the prize and for any other expenses related
to the use of the prize.
All those entrants entering electronically at The Prepared Pantry's website page will receive links to How to Bake, a 250-page baking book, with other relevant materials provided at the discretion of The Sponsor.
No other prizes, compensation, or payments will be awarded in conjunction with The Great Grocery Giveaway. The Sponsor reserves all rights in awarding of the prizes.
6.
General Conditions
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the
Official Rules and the decisions of The Sponsor, which are final and
binding on all matters pertaining to The Great Grocery Giveaway. The
Great Grocery Giveaway is governed by the laws of the United States.
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All federal
and state taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
All prizes will be awarded and winner will be notified via email or
mail within three business days of the drawing. If a potential winner
cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made, or if an
entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with
the Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected. By entering,
participants release and hold harmless the Sponsors and their respective
parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and
agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of
any kind arising from or in connection with The Great Grocery Giveaway
or any prize won.
7.
Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for (i) printing or typographical errors
in any The Great Grocery Giveaway-related material, (ii) stolen, incomplete,
lost, network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed
computer transmission; (iii) or any combination thereof. The Sponsor
is not responsible for any damage to any participant’s computer
system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading
any materials from this promotion.
In the event of a dispute regarding any email entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry (i.e. the person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address).
If, for any reason, The Great Grocery Giveaway cannot be conducted as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of The Sponsor which, in the sole opinion of The Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Internet portion of The Great Grocery Giveaway, The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend The Great Grocery Giveaway or any drawing(s) and may conduct a drawing and select a winner from among all entries received for that drawing prior to the action taken. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with The Great Grocery Giveaway will be ineligible for the prize and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
8.
Scheduling Changes
The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any schedule changes
in The Great Grocery Giveaway timeline, including without limitation,
scheduling conflicts, labor strikes, Acts of God, and other unforeseen
events that disrupt The Great Grocery Giveaway schedule.
9.
Governing Law/Jurisdiction
All issues and questions concerning the validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations
of entrants or The Sponsor in connection with The Great Grocery Giveaway
shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws
of the state of Idaho without giving effect to any choice of law or
conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application
of any other state’s laws. In the event that any provision is
determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these
rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance
with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained
herein. Each person who participates in The Great Grocery Giveaway irrevocably
agrees that the state and federal courts located in Rigby, Idaho shall
have exclusive jurisdiction over any suit or other proceeding arising
out of or based upon this agreement, and each hereby waives any that
it is not subject personally to the jurisdiction of said courts or that
any such suit or other proceeding is brought in an inconvenient format
or improper venue.

For a copy of The Great Grocery Giveaway winner(s) list identifying
The Great Grocery Giveaway winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped
