Real chocolate makes better hot chocolate!

Make your hot cocoa and mochas with real chocolate--you know it's better!

This is what the label says:

"The luxuriously deep flavor of Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate and Cocoa creates the intense lingering chocolate experience cherished by cocoa lovers. We start with cocoa from the finest cacao beans, blend just the right amount of sugar and vanilla, and add real chocolate for a rich chocolate taste."

We've used this and we've served it in our store. It makes an exceptionally rich, smooth hot cocoa. We highly recommend it.

Of course, with real chocolate you expect to pay more. It's not that much more--about 25% more than better cocoa mixes that we've used in the past. While most cocoa mixes are largely powdered milk, this has no milk--you're buying chocolate, not milk. It's a better buy, not just a better cocoa. For about 50 cents a cup, make better hot cocoa and great cafe mocha.

To make hot cocoa, blend four tablespoons sweet ground chocolate in a mug with 8 to 10 ounces of hot milk.

To make cafe mocha, blend three tablespoons sweet ground chocolate with 8 to 10 ounces of hot milk and one to two shots espresso.

From the label: "Sugar, cocoa, unsweetened chocolate, soy lecithin (an emulsifier), and vanilla." (The emulsifier helps the chocolate blend with the milk.) Note that there are no preservatives or artificial flavors.
