Caramel
Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1 3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 cup condensed milk
1 teaspoon rum or vanilla flavor
4. Melt the butter
in a saucepan. Stir in the sugar, cornstarch and milk.
5. Heat until bubbling and thickened. Remove from the heat and add the
flavoring.
