Baked Asparagus with Walnut Butter
This is absolutely wonderful! The asparagus is buttery and almost crunchy. The heat in the oven roasts the nuts so they are very flavorful.
Ingredients
2 pounds washed trimmed asparagus spears
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnut pieces
3 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Place the asparagus in a baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and toss with walnut pieces.
- Cut the butter into chunks and arrange on top of the asparagus.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 375 or until done.
