When do you use a silver pie pan?

Use this pan for luscious chiffon pies, dreamy key lime pies, and any of your favorite pies with crumb or nut crusts.  While you want a dark pan to bake a crisp pastry crust, you need to reflect heat away from crumb crusts.  The bright stainless steel finish reflects the heat and keeps the crusts from burning.  You'll find that this pan bakes a superior pie.

This pan is just a little deeper than most with gently sloping sides.  You'll find it a little easier to build crumb crusts against these sloping sides.
